On Tuesday the 22nd of February at directly 1.09pm Canterbury was hit by a disastrous Quake.
73 people died, and at least 200 people were stuck under rubble or were not to be heard from and rescuers were working night and day to find survivors in buildings.Day 2 was even more worse as families, fathers even children were either in a homeless shelter as their houses were totally destroyed.Families and fathers were waiting desperately for mothers and wives to come out and were praying for them but there was no sign of any women coming out of buildings that were just pancaked on each other.The police ended up losing FAITH in those who were lost in the buildings under rubble.The police confirmed that 300 people were missing or not to be found and at least 63 people were found dead.
