Week 1

Welcome back to school. The first week has been great and it is wonderful to see you all have come with such a positive attitude and such great self-management skills. We are working on our unit "It's All About Me." We are discussing what it means to be successful and how we will achieve our goals. It is wonderful to see how well you are already working in co-operative groups and this is also seen in P.E. when you are working in teams. Our reading unit, "The Island of the Blue Dolphins" is also going well and I know you are all enjoying the story and the contract work we are doing on it. This week you will have the opportunity to vote for our school House leaders. You need to be looking for a person who shows great leadership skills in our school and who is interested in all that goes on at St Josephs. I hope week two is a good one for you and that our learners qualities, our virtues and your goals are always on your mind as you give 100% to all you do.
